Rose Croix Degrees

When a Freemason feels genuinely familiar with the moral and ethical lessons conveyed through the ritual and symbolism he experienced in the three Degrees of the Craft and their respective Extensions, he is welcome and encouraged to seek further Masonic instruction by pursuing the so-called Rose Croix Degrees. These may take a Freemason who has attained the 3rd Degree, 'Master Mason', as far as the 18th Degree, 'Sovereign Prince Rose Croix'.

Regalia of an 18° Freemason

As a Brother Freemason participating in the Consolidated Rite, you may wish to engage in the Rose Croix Degrees once you have been a Royal Arch Mason for a minimum of four months.

The Rose Croix Degrees constitute the 'apex of the Consolidated Rite' in particular and the 'perfection of Freemasonry' in general.

All Brethren in Freemasonry are reminded that they should take great care before associating with any organisation which purports to be Masonic. If in doubt, enquiry should be made of the United Grand Lodge of England. Contact with irregular organisations should be avoided.
